We all are aware of the global battle against COVID-19. Automation is playing a vital role in fighting and reducing the spread of the deadly virus. Globally a large number of hospitals are using robots to aid patients. Doctors are taking the help of robots as a microphone, stethoscope, and camera. Robots are the way by which Patients are cured without any physical touch and hence reducing the spread of the virus.
How different countries are using robots?
In South Korea, robots are used for measuring the temperature and distributing hand sanitizers to people.
Walmart, which is America's greatest retailer is using robots to clean its floors.
Mobile robots are used instead of doctors to stop the interaction.
Social distancing has become a part of life. Due to COVID-19, people think a lot about whether to visit the restaurant or while ordering the food at home.
Then what is the solution?
Today in restaurants instead of humans, robots are used. A robot is doing the job of a waiter to serve the food. Also, the cooking of food is done with the help of robots.
Now, for delivering food from place to place is to be done by drones.
As robots are coming in contact and are useful in many sectors thus results in reducing contact with people and keeping social distancing.
Not only in hospitals or restaurants we can say robots are helpful. But also in agriculture for farming, they have many advantages.

As we know at many places human labours are replaced by robots. This also gives perfection for manufacturing despite that many of people are unemployed.
Generally, robots are programmed by engineers for specific tasks to be done. They can not go beyond that till they are programmed to.
On one side we say robot saves time but if robot malfunctions it takes too long for repairing this.
Robots are quite expensive and also requires high maintenance due to which it is difficult for everyone to buy it.

How did this happen?
The battery of the robot overheated and turned the machine into a ball of fire.
Not only this incident but also many such accidents take place. Sometimes a part of the robot also gets collapsed and also can cause a severe injury.
There's no doubt that robots are friendly but we can not rely upon them every time. Like decision making or sense of emotion.
Still, there are a number of things left to discover about robotics.
